Courtesy of the English Pool Association, we can send you a poster size wall chart of the rules for you to refer to.  The rules have changed many times since the game of pool was introduced into this country, but in recent years more and more leagues are finding that it makes sense for all concerned if the game is played to one set of rules.

Many disputes in league matches are caused by the simple reason that the rules are not clear enough.

There are good reasons then, why local leagues throughout the U.K have joined the English Pool Association.  It is particularly important for the serious pool players who have ambitions to progress to county level, and aspire to even perhaps play for their country one day.  It is obvious that players not just from different counties, but also different countries, will all enjoy playing against each other more when they are used to playing under the same set of rules.

The E.P.A. have worked hard to promote the sport, and thanks to Sky T.V. it is now receiving more television coverage then ever before.
