The CuePlus 49 is a telescopic cue that can be played with at any length from 49 inches to 65 inches. The is particularly useful if you play pool in a venue that has tight areas where a smaller cue is sometimes needed. Some players purchase a butt-jointed cue to overcome this problem but when the butt is removed it effects the weight and balance of the cue. With the CuePlus you can adjust the length of the cue without effecting the weight and the balance and it can also be adjusted so quickly that after using a few times most players do so in a split second without even thinking about it. These cues are not just for tight spaces though; Players come in all shapes and sizes yet most standard cues are 57 to 58 inches long regardless of the players height. With this cue you simply choose the length you are happiest with. Also, with an extended length of 65 inches there is no more overstretching on those longer shots.

Sept 2021… I recently bought a CuePlus49 from Rob..
I wanted it for my partner, as she is in a pool team & sometimes struggles at certain teams tables, that have a few tight areas, which require a shorter cue.
I was on the phone to Rob for a good while & he guided me through my options.. He was very knowledgeable & refreshingly unbiased in his suggestions.. I mulled over what he suggested & placed my order the following day. The cue came very well packaged. On opening the box, it was immediately obvious that this was a top quality item. I screwed it together & the weight & feel was very reassuring.. The feathering of the grain was lovely & the tip is a beauty.
My partner loved the look & feel of the cue & its length adjustment (which is literally a smooth quarter turn) We practiced last night & almost instantly, her cue ball control was enhanced.. The tip is so fine that imparting backspin, top & side was so easy..
We used a breaking cue for the breaks, as we felt it deserved a bit more respect & although could probably take the punishment, we didn’t want to risk damaging it.
Maybe the looks aren’t for everyone but we think it looks great anyway & the playability more than make up for any doubts you may have, even if you prefer a more traditional type cue.. It is a fairly heavy cue too but we like that. In summary.. A great design, well made, using top materials & a bargain.. Top marks.

Today I visited Robert Field at Blue Moon Leisure and purchased a Lynton butt-jointed hand spliced 8.5mm tip cue for English pool, and a case with a Mini butt end included. I cannot recommend the service highly enough, from my first telephone call to the showroom and subsequent visit, Robert was so very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. His process, taking into account the additional Covid restrictions, allowed me to try my selection of his cues on the showroom pool table without any pressure to buy. I ended up with a pool cue and accessories that felt just right for me and the buying experience will always be a fond memory each time I take out this perfectly balanced cue from the lovely case.
